Snapshots at Brown- Oktoberfest

Hello Bruin Club Blog readers! My name’s Allison García and I’m a second-year/second time Snapshots at Brown blogger. This is where you’ll find my (sometimes) sneaky and savagely HQ pics of Brown and the Providence area.

This weekend was the Brown’s Oktoberfest and honestly, what could be better than all the German food you can eat , face painting ,really interesting traditional dancing, and pictures with a giant pretzel? The answer is nothing.

Alumnae hall was sehr Deutsch Friday night, with Bavarian flags hanging from the walls and all the beer you can drink (if you are over 21, naturally). Around 181 people came to celebrate the traditional German Volksfest, which was actually held here at Brown in October for once (in the past it has been in November. Don’t ask why? I don’t even know?).

Until Next Adventure (which will probably be very soon because the German club is getting busy)

P.S. If you know a cool place on campus that deserves the spotlight, or just want to talk about how amazing Brown is, send an email to!
